Deliver thorough resident apartment and common-area cleaning with sanitation expertise in a Housekeeper role supporting daily residence standards.
This Housekeeper position focuses on cleaning and sanitizing resident apartments, common areas, fixtures, surfaces, and furnishings. You will follow assigned schedules, use institutional cleaning methods, and operate floor-care and steam-cleaning equipment. The work also includes documentation, training, meetings, and quality improvement participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean resident apartments and common areas according to schedules
Sanitize furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, and windows
Operate floor-care machines and steam-cleaning equipment
Strip, scrub, spray, and buff floor surfaces
Transport garbage to designated areas and complete required documentation
Requirements:
Knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
Previous commercial, residential, healthcare, or laundry experience desirable
Good oral and written English communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide feedback
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
