Clinical Assistant Patient Care
Air Liquide
Support patient care in Cambridge, Ontario, using clinical communication and equipment knowledge with VitalAire Home Healthcare. Assist nurses and respiratory therapists.
As a Clinical Assistant, you will support patient assessments, treatments, follow-up care, and education for patients and caregivers. You will also coordinate scheduling, documentation, equipment, inventory, and administrative activities for CPAP and Home Oxygen therapy programs. This role supports patient-centered care at VitalAire, a subsidiary of Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist nurses and respiratory therapists with patient assessments
Educate patients and caregivers about equipment usage
Schedule appointments and coordinate clinical referrals
Maintain, sanitize, and perform preventive equipment care
Manage inventory and track clinical supplies
Requirements:
College certificate or diploma in Medical Office Administration preferred
Medical background preferred for this clinical assistant role
Microsoft Office, ERP, and Google systems proficiency
Strong data entry and selling skills
One to two years of general office experience
