Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Technician

Diagnose Caterpillar equipment with specialized testing equipment as a Field Service Technician supporting customers across Eastern Canada. Full-time permanent work offers flexible schedules across multiple locations.
Toromont Cat seeks a Field Service Technician with at least three years repairing and servicing heavy equipment in shops and fields. Use Cat systems, including ET and SIS familiarity, while supporting construction, mining, and power generation customers. The work emphasizes safe, environmentally sound behaviors and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
Repair Caterpillar equipment within established field time standards
Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound work behaviors
Maintain customer relationships through regular onsite visits
Communicate effectively with field customers
Requirements:
Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License
At least three years repairing heavy equipment
Experience servicing equipment in shops and fields
Familiarity with Cat systems, ET, and SIS
Valid Driver’s License; DZ preferred
