Financial Reporting Accountant Vancouver

Own financial reporting and lease accounting with Lush in a hybrid Vancouver role requiring strong Excel and reconciliation skills. Support North American finance operations.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this Accountant supports monthly and annual financial statements across Digital, Retail, Manufacturing, and Admin/Corporate. The work includes journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, variance analysis, accruals, and compliance. You will coordinate with departments across North America while supporting Lush’s ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries for monthly financial reporting
Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
Manage prepaid, sales, commission, and expense accruals
Complete Canadian and US lease accounting reconciliations
Support audits and maintain accounting control procedures
Requirements:
CPA designation or enrollment in CPA PEP
Three or more years of accounting experience
Month-end close experience in multi-entity environments
Lease accounting experience and strong Excel skills
Effective communication, initiative, and prioritization abilities
Bring financial reporting, lease accounting, Excel, and reconciliation expertise to Lush’s hybrid Vancouver finance team.
