Retail Operations Assistant Manager
BC Liquor Distribution Branch
Apply retail operations and supervisory experience as an Assistant Manager supporting BCLIQUOR service, scheduling, security, and stock control. Work across a multi-shift store environment.
This Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager within the BC Liquor Distribution Branch’s BCLIQUOR retail brand. You will help oversee customer-facing operations, supervise employees, maintain morale, and support acceptable security levels. The work includes assignments, training, store duties, stock variances, and Branch policy support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with management of a major retail operation
Schedule assignments and train retail staff
Maintain staff morale and encourage teamwork
Help control stock levels and stock variances
Support Branch policies and physical asset security
Requirements:
Secondary school diploma or equivalent certificate
Recent service-oriented experience in a customer-facing environment
At least six months of recent supervisory experience
Serving It Right certification before appointment confirmation
Ability to stand, bend, and perform warehouse duties
Use retail supervision, staff scheduling, stock control, and customer service experience to support BCLIQUOR operations.
