This CUPE position supports Section G during the 2027 Winter Semester. The work emphasizes student contact, grading, and exam proctoring for an engineering design course. Successful candidates bring strong design teaching skills and Makerspace or Brunsfield Centre experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in Introduction to Engineering Design
Provide 55 hours of student contact
Complete 65 hours of grading
Proctor mid-term and final examinations
Complete 10 hours of proctoring
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of the engineering design process
Experience using Makerspace tools
Experience using Brunsfield Centre tools
Very good teaching skills in design
English as the language of work
Bring engineering design expertise, teaching ability, and Makerspace experience to uOttawa’s GNG1103 instructional team.
