AZ Heavy Equipment Transport Driver

Manual-transmission driving and heavy equipment transport define this AZ Driver position with PDI Group of Companies across the GTA and Province.
VPCL seeks an experienced driver with a clean abstract, Class 1 air brakes, and at least five years’ experience. You will transport heavy machinery, coordinate deliveries, complete inspections, and maintain required driving logs. Safety standards, communication, and regulatory compliance are central to this work.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate AZ-class manual-transmission vehicles to project sites
Load, secure, balance, and unload heavy machinery
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with dispatchers and site personnel
Record daily driving logs using a smartphone or tablet
Requirements:
Valid AZ license and clean driving abstract
Class 1 air brakes with five years’ experience
Float experience transporting heavy equipment
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Availability for travel, weekends, and overtime
Bring safe manual-transmission driving, equipment-handling experience, and detailed transportation practices to PDI Group of Companies projects.
