Clinical leadership and resident care define this permanent part-time Long-Term Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse position in Clearwater, BC. Work Tuesday through Friday, 08:30 to 16:30.
Interior Health Authority seeks a Registered Nurse with long-term care experience for Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital. The position combines clinical oversight, staff supervision, teaching, individualized care planning, and multidisciplinary coordination. Accurate documentation and quality improvement also support resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical leadership within the long-term care setting
Supervise nursing staff and support ongoing education
Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
Coordinate patient-centered care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain documentation and support quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse registration with the provincial regulatory body
Strong clinical background in long-term care
Previous healthcare supervision and teaching experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills within healthcare environments
Support resident care through clinical leadership, staff education, care planning, and coordination with Interior Health Authority teams.
