Industrial Fabrication Project Coordinator

Coordinate industrial fabrication projects in Edmonton, using project tracking, documentation, and communication skills across interconnected teams.
As Project Coordinator - Industrial West, you support planning, execution, and closeout for fabrication projects at Bird. You liaise with project management, engineering, procurement, production, quality, and clients. Your coordination helps address schedules, deliverables, budgets, contract requirements, safety, and project reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers with fabrication project execution and administration
Coordinate schedules, deliverables, milestones, and progress meetings
Maintain RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, and change orders
Track procurement, materials, fabrication progress, costs, and productivity
Coordinate logistics, quality documentation, closeout, and final reporting
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Two to five years of relevant industrial project experience
Understanding of fabrication processes, drawings, specifications, and workflows
Proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, Word, and Outlook
Strong organization, communication, and priority-management abilities
Support Bird’s Edmonton fabrication projects through organized coordination, accurate documentation, schedule tracking, and cross-functional communication.
