Securities settlements analysts process daily transactions accurately in Toronto, using reconciliation, trade exception handling, and communication skills. This is a fixed term contract.
RBC seeks a Settlement Analyst for its Capital Markets platform in Toronto. You will process securities settlements, manage trade exceptions, reconcile account differences, and communicate issues clearly. The role requires settlement trade life cycle knowledge, computer skills, and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Process securities settlements and handle trade exceptions promptly
Reconcile account differences and communicate issues through proper channels
Interface with business lines, branches, and counterparty operations teams
Escalate potential issues to management to reduce risk and cost
Assist management with ad hoc requirements and tasks
Requirements:
Post secondary education or equivalent qualification
Understanding of the settlement trade life cycle
Zero to one year of relevant experience preferred
Strong communication and computer skills
Ability to work independently and solve problems
