Support residents through personal care and daily living assistance at Samaritan Place in Saskatoon, working temporary full-time day shifts.
As a Care Partner, you will serve residents at Samaritan Place, an Emmanuel Health organization providing long-term care. Your work supports optimum functioning while addressing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. Resident-directed care guides your approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care for clients, patients, and residents
Assist with activities of daily living
Encourage residents’ optimum level of functioning
Support physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs
Practice resident-directed care in daily interactions
Requirements:

Complete Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Program
Equivalent continuing care education may be accepted
Conditional hires complete required education within two years
Demonstrate empathy in resident care
Work as a team-oriented person
Bring empathetic, holistic resident care to Samaritan Place while supporting daily living and resident-directed outcomes.
