Hardgoods Retail Department Leader

Use sports knowledge and retail leadership to guide Hardgoods customers and employees while driving sales through effective department planning.
This Department Sales Manager position focuses on coaching, customer relationships, and business growth. You will set expectations, communicate through huddles, and support staff development. Your leadership will help deliver exceptional customer experiences across the Hardgoods department.

Set expectations and coach employees continually
Provide constructive feedback and ongoing team support

Drive department sales through daily planning
Support full time staff development plans
Requirements:

At least two years of retail environment experience
Supervisory experience preferred for this retail manager role
Exceptional customer service skills and business growth record
Passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring teams
Understanding of sports and related technology is valuable
Bring retail management, sports understanding, and customer experience leadership to Sport Chek’s Hardgoods sales department.
