Supply Early Childhood Educator
Compass Early Learning and Care
Support children’s learning through play, observation, and flexible scheduling as a Supply Early Childhood Educator in a childcare setting.
This position plans, leads, and guides interest-based experiences throughout the day. The educator observes and documents children’s learning while building relationships with families. The work includes collaboration with coworkers, families, community partners, and children, alongside active supervision and safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan interest-based experiences around children’s interests
Lead and guide learning experiences throughout the day
Observe and document children’s learning
Build relationships with families and include them in learning
Supervise children and engage in play
Requirements:
Flexibility to work within a fluctuating schedule
Experience working or volunteering with children and youth
Familiarity with the Child Care Early Years Act
Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
Bring childcare experience, learning documentation, family relationships, and active supervision to this Supply Early Childhood Educator role.
