Financial Services Representative Barrhaven
Meridian Credit Union Limited
Serve Meridian Members in Barrhaven through financial advice, transactional banking, and relationship-building in an on-site, full-time position. Help clients pursue financial goals through appropriate recommendations and responsive service.
As a Financial Services Representative, you will support Meridian’s branch sales and service team. You will understand Member needs, provide advice, complete daily banking transactions, and identify opportunities for accounts, credit, deposits, wealth referrals, and Meridian products. The role also works with Wealth, Small Business, and Mobile Mortgage Specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete front-line transactional services accurately and promptly
Open new Member accounts using account-opening strategies
Recommend credit, deposit, investment, and other financial solutions
Refer opportunities to Wealth, Small Business, and Mobile Mortgage partners
Resolve Member concerns and support branch business plans
Requirements:
Strong financial industry knowledge and business acumen
Passion for exceptional Member Experience and relationship development
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong computer systems knowledge and virtual technology comfort
Post-secondary education or equivalent financial services sales experience
Bring consultative financial advice, accurate transactions, and Member-focused relationship skills to Meridian’s Barrhaven branch team.
