Personal Care Aide Chestermere

Support seniors with personal care and mobility assistance as a Personal Care Aide at AgeCare Dawson, a part-time regular workplace in Chestermere.
As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team and work under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision. Your responsibilities include bathing, transfers, feeding, routine treatments, and helping residents travel throughout the facility. The position serves residents at 77 Merganser Drive West.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete bathing and washing with strict temperature controls
Move residents with walkers, wheelchairs, or positioning chairs
Assist meals and nourishment according to care plans
Apply skin creams and bowel protocols as directed
Escort residents to beauty, physiotherapy, and social functions
Requirements:
Completion of recognized PCA, HCA 2002, or equivalent education
Active registration with the CLHA
Fluent written and spoken English
Continuing-care or related experience preferred
Post-secondary education is an asset
Use certified personal-care knowledge, safe mobility practices, and compassionate resident assistance to support daily life at AgeCare Dawson.
