Apparel Retail Department Lead
Bass Pro Shops
Lead Apparel retail operations with team supervision, customer recommendations, and visual merchandising expertise at Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s. Store opening, closing, and weekend availability are required.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, Softlines, the Retail Lead oversees daily department operations. This supervisory position emphasizes delegation, standard operating procedures, team training, customer service, and product recommendations. Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s products is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead department team members with the manager
Delegate assignments and follow up on execution
Train team members on operating procedures and processes
Maintain signage, recovery, restocking, and floor presentation
Resolve customer issues using judgment and logic
Requirements:
Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred
Sales or service environment experience preferred
Open availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to evaluate needs and recommend products
