Training and Development Consultant
City of Toronto
Design digital training programs for the City of Toronto, using adult learning and customer service expertise to support frontline staff.
Reporting to the Manager 311 Quality & Performance, this consultant designs, develops, coordinates, implements, and delivers professional development. The work covers digital processes, tools, technologies, needs assessments, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Programs serve managers and frontline staff across CXD.
Key Responsibilities:
Design in-person, virtual, classroom, and eLearning programs
Deliver training on technologies, legislation, and compliance
Assess needs and evaluate learning outcomes
Document divisional training in the ELI inventory
Support learning plans and performance improvement
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in adult learning, training, or eLearning
Considerable customer service or call centre training experience
Experience coordinating enterprise-wide or cross-divisional programs
Leadership experience supervising training and development initiatives
Advanced Microsoft Office and visual communication skills
