Teach Structural Dynamics at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus, using strong course knowledge and excellent English communication skills. This is in-person work.
The Faculty of Engineering seeks a Teaching Assistant for CVG4142 during the 2027 Winter Semester. The Department of Civil Engineering_ST offers three positions supervised by Elena Dragomirescu. The assignment runs January 1 through April 30, 2027, for 130 total hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in Structural Dynamics
Provide 60 hours of student contact
Grade course work for 60 hours
Proctor assessments for six hours
Complete four hours of other assigned work
Requirements:
Excellent background knowledge in Structural Dynamics
Excellent oral communication skills in English
P.Eng. or EIT status prioritized
Bilingualism considered an asset
Availability for in-person campus work
