Portion and serve meals at Youville Home as a Food Service Worker I, following menu, diet, temperature, and portion standards.
This temporary part-time position supports food service within a continuing care setting. You will package food, wash dishes, clean kitchen surfaces, and follow diet protocols. The role is classified as Food Service Worker I and covered by the COV AUPE GSS agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
Portion food items according to menu and diet protocols
Package meals while following portion control standards
Serve food within temperature requirements
Wash and put away dishes
Clean kitchen and surfaces throughout the kitchen
Requirements:
Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent
Ability to follow menu and diet protocols
Ability to meet portion control standards
Ability to follow temperature standards
Availability for days and weekends
Support residents through accurate food portioning, meal service, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning at Youville Home.
