Health Data Analyst Organ Transplantation
Canadian-Institute-For-Health-Information
Analyze Canadian health data for CIHI’s Organ Donation and Transplantation project using Python, statistical methods, and data visualization. Toronto or Ottawa locations are available.
This contract Analyst role supports CanODT, CIHI’s pan-Canadian organ donation and transplantation database. You will prepare health system data, develop indicators, conduct analyses, and communicate findings. The work combines quality assurance, programming, reporting, and stakeholder support for technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, validate, and document internal and external data
Develop analytical plans, indicator definitions, and methodology
Maintain analytic code, reproducible analyses, and version control
Produce reports, dashboards, and visual products
Support stakeholders, data providers, and reporting requests
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in a related quantitative or health field
One to three years of related data analytics experience
Proficiency with Python or similar statistical software
Experience with health system data or indicator development
Fluency in English; bilingualism is an asset
Bring health data analytics, indicator development, and clear communication skills to CIHI’s organ transplantation information work.
