Hydrocarbon Analysis Laboratory Technician

Apply hydrocarbon analysis expertise as a Laboratory Technician at Keyera’s Fort Saskatchewan Fractionation Facility, supporting accurate testing and safe operations.
This experienced Laboratory Technician performs product testing, process sampling, analytical data management, and technical support. The position supports product quality, environmental compliance, and operational decisions. Strong knowledge of hydrocarbon sampling, physical-property testing, calibration, and quality control is important.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hydrocarbon product testing using approved laboratory methods
Collect product, glycol, oil, water, and environmental samples
Interpret P&IDs, PFDs, and schematics during troubleshooting
Program composite samplers and verify sampling requirements
Prepare reports and communicate results to functional groups
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in laboratory technology, chemistry, or related discipline
Five or more years of laboratory experience
Knowledge of NGL processing, sampling, and physical-property testing
Strong analytical judgment, troubleshooting, communication, and computer skills
Availability for shifts, overtime, callouts, and schedule changes
Use hydrocarbon testing, sampling, and analytical judgment to support Keyera’s Fort Saskatchewan facility and informed operational decisions.
