Assistant Deli and Cheese Manager

Farm Boy seeks an Assistant Deli and Cheese Manager with customer service and team coaching experience to support fresh department operations. This hands-on position includes daily team engagement and operational excellence.
Working alongside the Department Manager, you will help deliver Farm Boy’s best fresh shopping experience. You will support training, coaching, merchandising, staffing, inventory, ordering, invoicing, and payroll functions. The position also promotes Safe Food Handling and Health & Safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver warm, confident, engaging customer service
Execute departmental strategies and performance objectives
Train, coach, motivate, and recognize team members
Lead huddles, share goals, and provide feedback
Maintain merchandising, rotation, staffing, cleanliness, and administration
Requirements:
Passion for exceptional customer service
Post-secondary business education and one year’s supervisory experience
Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Experience using computer software and operational systems
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, lifting, and cooler conditions
Bring customer service, coaching, and operational coordination skills to Farm Boy’s deli and cheese department.
