Use mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise as a Remote Heavy Duty Equipment Technician serving Northern Ontario from Greater Sudbury or Timmins.
Custom Truck One Source is hiring a full-time technician supporting customers throughout Northern Ontario. The work includes diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance for specialized trucks and equipment. The position suits a 421A or 310T Red Seal Technician comfortable working independently in customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair utility trucks and specialized equipment
Service hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections
Complete repair orders, reports, timecards, and documentation
Communicate repair progress and additional needs to management
Requirements:
Ontario Journeyperson Skilled Trades Certificate or Red Seal certification
Valid Class G or Class D driver's license
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to travel extensively throughout Northern Ontario
Own hand tools and basic computer proficiency
