Director of Strategic Procurement

Strategic procurement leadership awaits at Sienna Senior Living in Markham, where data analysis and supplier management shape enterprise buying. This is an on-site position.
Reporting to the Vice President of Tax and Treasury, the Director of Procurement leads Sienna’s end-to-end procurement function. You will develop strategies, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost efficiencies. The role leads four direct reports while partnering with senior management and department leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and champion an organization-wide strategic procurement framework
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial contract terms
Drive coordinated buying and total cost ownership
Establish procurement targets and report performance
Lead procurement automation, systems, and process improvements
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of progressive business or procurement experience
Five years in leadership within a comparable size company
University degree emphasizing business, procurement, or supply chain
Experience negotiating IT, capital, goods, and services contracts
Strong data analysis, communication, and presentation skills
Lead strategic procurement, supplier partnerships, contract negotiation, and operational excellence for Sienna Senior Living in Markham.
