This Principal Mechanical Engineer role provides technical authority across mineral processing facilities and North American project delivery. You will shape equipment selection, materials handling, plant integration, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. The position also includes project execution, vendor coordination, mentoring, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert input on crushing, grinding, screening, and conveying
Develop and review plant layouts and mechanical integration
Lead calculations, specifications, datasheets, and equipment lists
Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and package management
Drive engineering standards, safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
15+ years of engineering, delivery, or site support experience
Strong mining and mineral processing facility design background
Experience with pumps, piping, services, and materials handling systems
High standards for HSE, quality, leadership, and communication
Use your mining design authority and mineral processing systems experience to strengthen Primero’s technical delivery across North America.
