Lead Legal Engineering from Legora’s Toronto office, combining legal practice, product fluency, enterprise change, and commercial judgment.
As Director, Legal Engineering, you will build Canada’s team and Team Lead layer. You will set quality standards, develop leaders, guide client work, and connect delivery with commercial outcomes. The position reports to the Head of Legal Engineering, North America, while coordinating with Go-to-Market, Engagement, Product, and senior client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Canada’s Legal Engineering operating rhythm and quality bar
Hire Legal Engineers and develop future Team Leads
Coach performance through direct, evidence-based feedback
Lead selected enterprise engagements and reusable workflow playbooks
Translate client patterns into actionable Product input
Requirements:
Qualified lawyer licensed or eligible in Canada
Substantial legal, operations, innovation, or technology experience
Experience building teams, functions, markets, or operating models
Curiosity about generative AI and legal technology products
Greater Toronto Area residence and Toronto office availability
Build Legora’s Canadian Legal Engineering system through leadership, client partnership, product understanding, and repeatable delivery.
