Aseptic Compounding Pharmacy Manager

Lead aseptic compounding operations at McKesson, applying sterile preparation expertise and NAPRA standards within a regulated pharmacy environment.
The Manager, Aseptic Compounding oversees hazardous and non-hazardous sterile preparations, verification, packaging, and controlled work environments. This leadership role manages pharmacist workloads, scheduling, coaching, and development. It also standardizes procedures, quality practices, training, and documentation across pharmacy sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding operations
Ensure compliance with NAPRA standards and pharmacy requirements
Manage pharmacist workload, scheduling, performance, and development
Oversee environmental monitoring, investigations, documentation, and corrective actions
Support audits and complete documented corrective and preventive actions
Requirements:
Licensed pharmacist in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy
Experience with hazardous or non-hazardous sterile preparations
One to two years leading pharmacy professionals or operations
Experience with Kroll and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of NAPRA sterile compounding standards
Bring sterile compounding leadership, regulatory knowledge, and pharmacist development experience to McKesson’s pharmacy operations.
