Lead Airline Operations Coordinator

Lead airline operations coordination at Air Inuit, supporting DOC coverage, operational decisions, and standards across Nunavik’s 24/7 aviation network.
This full-time role provides leadership, coordination, and support to the Daily Operations Coordinator team. You will coordinate staffing, support onboarding, maintain procedures, and resolve operational issues. The position also strengthens practices through event reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish DOC coverage schedules and coordinate absence-related staffing
Review and approve employee timesheets in Synerion
Resolve interdepartmental issues before senior management escalation
Coordinate training on procedures, AIMS, and Canadian Aviation Regulations
Lead disruption debriefings and follow corrective actions
Requirements:
Strong airline operations or comparable aviation experience
Understanding of operational coordination and irregular operations
Strong judgement for timely operational decisions
Experience coaching, training, or supporting operational employees
Knowledge of AIMS and Canadian Aviation Regulations is an asset
