Payward seeks a hands-on Engineering Manager for a cross-functional Consumer pod focused on core Krak experiences. You will guide React and React Native frontend engineers alongside Rust backend engineers. The role partners with Product, Design, Engineering Managers, and Tech Leads to deliver usable, performant, reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead frontend and backend engineers building core Krak experiences
Own end-to-end UX across mobile and client platforms
Partner with Product Managers and Designers on features
Maintain engineering standards, architectures, and code quality
Mentor engineers and strengthen delivery through agile processes
Requirements:

Experience leading customer-facing engineering teams at scale
Experience managing combined frontend and backend teams
Deep React Native and modern frontend architecture knowledge
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
Consumer or financial product development experience
Shape Krak’s consumer products through React Native leadership, reliable engineering, and intuitive experiences for global users.
