Finance Director Banking Tax Compliance

Own banking, tax compliance, and financial risk for Bunkie Life, working remotely with monthly on-site attendance in Rockwood, Ontario.
This Head of Finance role leads the financial function across Canadian and U.S. entities. You will own financing relationships, external audits, tax obligations, forecasting, and risk management while partnering with leadership on major decisions. The position balances strategic thinking with detailed review, accuracy, and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financing initiatives and evaluate working capital options
Own banking relationships, signing authority, and lender reporting
Lead external audits, reviews, and compliance risk management
Oversee Canadian and U.S. tax filings and remittances
Monitor cross-border transactions and evolving jurisdictional requirements
Requirements:
Expert knowledge of accounting, planning, and risk management
Experience owning banking, lending, and audit relationships
Experience managing Canadian and U.S. entities
Strong relationship management with banks, lenders, and advisors
CPA designation is a strong asset
