Technical Accounting Systems Manager

This Senior Manager, Accounting role focuses on transforming accounting operations for a complex, transaction-heavy fintech platform. You will redesign the ledger and chart of accounts, connect subledgers and source systems, and translate accounting requirements into system specifications. You will research complex U.S. GAAP transactions, document technical conclusions, and turn them into policies and reliable reporting. Partnership with Engineering, Product, and Operations is central. You will also establish validation, review, and documentation for AI-enabled workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Redesign the general ledger and chart of accounts
Translate product requirements into journal entries and controls
Connect Rillet with subledgers and source systems
Automate reconciliations, postings, accruals, and variance analysis
Document technical accounting conclusions and related policies
Requirements:
Experience designing ledgers for payments, payroll, or fintech
Experience extending and optimizing a cloud ERP
Working fluency with AI accounting tools
Experience deploying an AI-enabled operational workflow
Python or scripting experience applied to accounting workflows
Use systems thinking, U.S. GAAP expertise, Rillet, and AI-enabled controls to modernize Wrapbook’s accounting function.
