Director Global Corporate Accounting
Starburst
Lead global accounting operations at Starburst, owning financial reporting and internal controls while improving systems, workflows, and close efficiency.
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Corporate Accounting will oversee accounting operations as Starburst scales. This hands-on leader will manage close processes, consolidations, compliance, audits, and financial operations. The role also develops a global accounting team and partners with FP&A and cross-functional leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Oversee general ledger, consolidations, and intercompany transactions
Strengthen internal controls and coordinate external audits
Optimize systems, automate workflows, and improve scalability
Develop the global accounting team and partner with leaders
Requirements:
Progressive accounting experience, preferably in high-growth technology
Strong U.S. GAAP, reporting, consolidation, and controls knowledge
Experience leading global operations and high-performing teams
Experience improving systems and scaling financial processes
Bachelor's degree; CPA designation preferred
Bring accounting leadership, technical expertise, and operational judgment to Starburst's global finance organization.
