This 12-month term supports nuclear medicine manufacturing at BWXT Medical Ltd. You will develop complex engineering design concepts, prepare final layouts, and maintain technical accuracy. The work includes drafting standards, manufacturing documentation, project coordination, and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop complex engineering design concepts under project engineer direction
Prepare final design layouts and manufacturing documentation
Verify dimensional accuracy and arrange design approvals
Monitor project progress, drafting hours, delays, and problems
Coordinate designs with purchasing, production, shipping, installation, and maintenance
Requirements:
Three-year technologist diploma in mechanical, electrical, or appropriate technology
Six to eight years of directly related experience
Accomplished use of computer-aided design and drafting systems
Ability to interpret engineering instructions and technical documents
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Use engineering design, drafting, and technical judgment to support accurate nuclear medicine manufacturing projects at BWXT Medical Ltd.
