Employability Strategy Manager HMP Peterborough

Shape employability strategy and skills development at HMP Peterborough, identifying local labour market needs through Sodexo’s Education, Skills and Work team.
This Industries Manager role leads opportunities supporting prisoners’ qualifications, employability, rehabilitation, and resettlement. You will work with prison employment leads, training providers, external employers, and internal colleagues. The position combines partnership building, commercial development, performance reporting, and resource planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify local skills gaps and employer demand
Develop employment-focused vocational opportunities and qualifications
Build relationships with employers and training providers
Monitor provider Service Level Agreements and delivery
Record performance across Curious, VC2, and CMS
Requirements:
Experience working within a vocational education environment
Strong communication skills across written and verbal formats
Proactive, flexible, self-motivated approach
Ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement
Interest in rehabilitation and resettlement of offenders
Use employability strategy, partnership working, and vocational training expertise to develop meaningful opportunities at HMP Peterborough.
