Senior Commercial Insurance Underwriter

Underwrite complex commercial portfolios with Northbridge Insurance, applying property and casualty expertise in a flexible hybrid work model.
As an Account Executive, you will underwrite and service highly complex, unique portfolios according to established guidelines and business objectives. You will help achieve national data quality and service standards while solving complex problems. The position also includes regional mentorship and training for underwriting staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite highly complex and unique commercial portfolios
Service portfolios according to established guidelines and objectives
Solve complex problems using underwriting expertise
Identify innovative solutions supporting profitable Northbridge growth
Mentor and train regional underwriting staff
Requirements:
Post-secondary education or equivalent on-the-job experience
Completed CIP and/or FCIP designation
Minimum 10 years in property and casualty insurance
Knowledge of underwriting philosophy, contracts, rating programs, and guidelines
Microsoft Office and PC-oriented environment familiarity
Bring commercial underwriting, negotiation, coaching, and portfolio servicing expertise to Northbridge’s national insurance business.
