Build Ontario utility partnerships around distributed energy resources, battery storage, and non-wires alternatives with EnPowered. Work from home while travelling within Ontario to meet partners.
As Senior Manager, Utility Partnerships, you will own relationships with Ontario utilities, industry associations, and selected strategic partners. You will help EnPowered identify utility constraints, shape collaboration models, and create qualified battery opportunities. The role combines relationship development, energy-sector knowledge, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Build trusted relationships with Ontario utility DER and planning teams
Learn utility constraints, planning cycles, procurement, and funding options
Develop battery projects, pilots, and partnership models
Bring qualified sites and interval data to the growth team
Represent EnPowered through energy associations, events, and working groups
Requirements:

At least five years in Ontario's electricity sector
Direct experience with local distribution companies
Understanding of DER, non-wires alternatives, and distribution planning
Existing relationships at Ontario utilities
Willingness to travel within Ontario and use AI tools
Bring utility relationships, battery knowledge, and partnership-building expertise to expand EnPowered's Ontario energy flexibility model.
