Detection Engineer Falcon Complete

Build high-fidelity SIEM detections with CrowdStrike’s Falcon Complete team, using threat research and Python or other scripting remotely. Protect organizations through intelligence-driven engineering and AI-assisted workflows.
As a Detection Engineer, you will support the Falcon Complete Detection Engineering team and its managed detection and response capability. You will develop detections across third-party data sources, respond to emerging threats, and improve triage efficiency. Your work spans ingestion, parsing, response, automation, and deployment at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Research threats and hunt emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures
Develop, test, and deploy CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM detection rules
Review code and test rules before scaled deployment
Apply CI/CD principles to deploy detections as code
Build AI-assisted tools, utilities, documentation, and automation processes
Requirements:
Three-plus years in detection engineering, security, or related fields
Knowledge of cyber threats, SIEM, and relevant technologies
Experience analyzing large datasets across vendors and technologies
Experience with SIEM solutions including LogScale, Splunk, or Sentinel
Python, LLM, AI coding agent, or scripting experience preferred
Bring threat hunting, SIEM detection, automation, and AI workflow experience to CrowdStrike Falcon Complete remotely.
