Senior Venture Strategy Associate
R Labs
Shape commercial strategy, financial models, and market validation as a senior Venture Associate at R-LABS, permanently onsite in downtown Toronto.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Ventures, you will guide early-stage ventures from discovery through company formation. The work spans customer interviews, competitive analysis, value propositions, revenue models, and go-to-market recommendations. You will collaborate with founders, investors, senior executives, and subject matter experts across real estate.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess market opportunities and competitive landscapes
Translate insights into value propositions and business models
Recommend pricing, revenue models, and go-to-market approaches
Prepare customer narratives and investor presentations
Influence evidence-based venture decisions across stages
Requirements:
Commercial mindset combining customer and business perspectives
Experience reasoning about unit economics and development pro-formas
Strong analytical approach to complex problems and patterns
Ability to present and influence varied senior audiences
Proactive ownership in ambiguous operating environments
