Senior Structural Engineer British Columbia

Lead structural analysis and design for buildings, renovations, seismic upgrades, and assessments throughout British Columbia. Hybrid work arrangements support project delivery.
Herold Engineering, part of Englobe Corporation, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer with at least 10 years of experience. You will design steel, concrete, timber, masonry, and other structural systems while coordinating with architects, contractors, owners, authorities, and engineering disciplines. The work includes new structures, existing-structure assessments, retrofits, and seismic upgrading projects throughout British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead analysis, design, and delivery of structural projects
Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
Provide technical direction and mentorship to project staff
Coordinate requirements with clients, contractors, and disciplines
Lead site visits, field reviews, and construction observations
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years building structures experience
Valid P.Eng. designation and EGBC registration
Experience designing steel, concrete, and timber structures
Familiarity with current local code requirements
Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver’s license
