ShaleSim Product Manager Completions Engineering
Computer Modelling Group
Shape ShaleSim with hydraulic fracturing expertise in Calgary or Houston, connecting fracture design, reservoir simulation, and production forecasting.
As Product Manager, you will own ShaleSim’s roadmap, requirements, and release priorities for unconventional development. You will collaborate with R&D, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing, and client completions and reservoir teams. Your work will guide capabilities across the Permian, Montney, Duvernay, Vaca Muerta, Middle East, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain the ShaleSim roadmap
Write requirements, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Prioritize backlog against client value, risk, and capacity
Validate releases through benchmark models and field data
Drive adoption, onboarding, training, and client feedback
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geomechanics, or related field
Minimum seven years of upstream oil and gas experience
At least four years in completions or hydraulic fracturing
Hands-on hydraulic fracture modelling software experience
Knowledge of unconventional reservoir behaviour and diagnostics
Bring technical depth, product judgement, and communication skills to advance ShaleSim for unconventional engineering teams worldwide.
