Fuel and Facilities Operations Manager
Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation
Lead fuel operations and facilities management for Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation in Old Crow, coordinating infrastructure, deliveries, and custodial services.
Reporting to the Community Services Director, the Fuel and Facilities Manager oversees department operations and staff. The position aligns planning with Citizen needs while managing fuel inventories, building maintenance, and service schedules. It also supports project, financial, communications, and emergency management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations, staff, schedules, work plans, and work orders
Oversee fuel inventories, deliveries, maintenance, and custodial services
Evaluate services using availability, cost, and operational performance data
Manage assigned projects within approved budgets and timeframes
Respond to crisis situations in Old Crow
Requirements:
Certificate or training in trades, engineering, or maintenance operations
Five or more years in fuel or maintenance operations
Five or more years motivating and managing staff
Experience overseeing budgets, procurement, policy, and governance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
