Senior Civil Structural Design Technologist
Bluestar Engineering LTD.
Use Revit, AutoCAD, and Tekla to produce structural designs and detailed drawing packages for commercial and industrial buildings.
Bluestar Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural/Architectural Designer with extensive commercial building design experience. This senior position focuses on structural steel, concrete foundations, 3D models, and civil/structural documentation. EPCM experience is preferred, alongside industrial project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop structural and civil drawing packages with other disciplines
Design steel framing systems and supporting structures
Prepare concrete foundations for buildings, racks, and equipment
Produce pile layouts, plans, sections, and bills of materials
Check drawings against standards and project specifications
Requirements:
Civil Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent required
At least 10+ years commercial structural design experience
Preferred EPCM experience with commercial building projects
Revit, AutoCAD, CADWorx Steel, and Tekla expertise
Ability to multitask and adjust to changing demands
Bring senior structural detailing, concrete foundation, and civil documentation experience to Bluestar Engineering Ltd.'s projects.
