Magnet Forensics
Build Magnet Forensics’ unified SaaS platform using full stack engineering, Kubernetes, and reusable frontend patterns across Canada.
This Staff Software Engineer role combines architecture, hands-on development, and mentorship on the Architecture team. You will shape how products are built and experienced across Magnet Forensics. The work emphasizes scalable applications, developer experience, performance, and consistent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Unite multiple SaaS products within a scalable application
Build shared frameworks and design systems
Improve developer experience, scalability, and performance
Guide teams toward better tools and practices
Document patterns and explain technical tradeoffs clearly
Requirements:
Eight or more years developing professional software
Experience across backend and frontend development
Five or more years delivering production SaaS solutions
Hands-on Kubernetes containerization, scaling, and troubleshooting experience
Excellent mentorship, leadership, and communication skills
Use full stack development, Kubernetes operations, and technical influence to advance Magnet Forensics’ SaaS platform foundation.
