Director Regulatory Strategy Calgary
ENMAX
Lead ENMAX’s regulatory strategy from Calgary through a hybrid work model, applying utility expertise and strategic judgment to complex proceedings.
As Director, Regulatory, you will guide ENMAX’s Distribution, Transmission and Rate of Last Resort portfolio. Lead multidisciplinary teams through Alberta Utilities Commission applications and proceedings. Advise senior leaders on regulatory matters, risks and opportunities while guiding regulatory outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead managers, professional employees and union employees
Ensure accurate, complete and defensible regulatory applications
Develop strategies supporting cost recovery, returns and customer value
Lead written and oral AUC proceedings
Prepare employees to participate effectively as witnesses
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, finance, engineering or law
Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible regulatory experience
Experience defending complex regulatory applications and proceedings
Utility experience, preferably within Alberta
Strong knowledge of electricity transmission and distribution frameworks
Direct ENMAX’s regulatory portfolio with strategic leadership, utility knowledge and sound judgment across complex Alberta proceedings.
