Lead integrated operational risk reviews at BMO across Capital Markets and Commercial Banking, connecting technology, cyber, data, and resilience insights. Work from 100 King Street West.
As Director, T&O Operational Risk Officer, you will establish a new business unit-centered oversight capability. Lead risk professionals while partnering with business, technology, Business ORO, and RSA teams. Build holistic views of controls, dependencies, operational outcomes, and residual exposure across critical business units and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish the business unit operational risk oversight model
Lead end-to-end integrated operational risk reviews
Develop risk profiles and assess cumulative exposure
Integrate operational, technology, cyber, data, AI, and fraud insights
Present actionable themes and recommendations to senior management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
10+ years in operational, technology, enterprise risk, audit, or consulting
Capital Markets and Commercial Banking understanding
Experience assessing processes, technologies, controls, and operational risks
Proven people leadership and executive communication skills
Shape BMO’s business unit risk oversight through integrated reviews, systemic analysis, executive reporting, and informed stakeholder decisions.
