Technical Writer IT Compliance
Interac
Technical Writer in Toronto creating accurate documentation for Agile squads, with emphasis on compliance, technical accuracy, and user-centered communication.
Reporting to the Leader, Business and Information Security Office and IT Compliance Management, this Technical Writer supports assigned projects. The position works with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to produce procedures, policies, processes, standards, build books, and playbooks. Documentation must follow Interac standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Build rapport with technical subject matter experts
Create and maintain technical documentation
Analyze processes and document workflows
Guide project documentation repositories and references
Publish knowledge resources for employees
Requirements:
Five-plus years of technical writing experience
Degree in information technology or related discipline
Knowledge of technical disciplines and ITSM practices
Clear, accessible writing with technical accuracy
Understanding of PCI and ISO27001 environments
Apply technical writing, compliance awareness, and knowledge management skills to documentation supporting Interac’s digital payment ecosystem in Toronto.
