This Litigation Associate role suits a lawyer with 5–9 years of post-call civil litigation experience. You will manage files, draft pleadings, briefs, applications, opinions, and other materials. The position also involves legal research, strategic recommendations, client communication, and file management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage insurance defence and civil litigation matters
Draft pleadings, briefs, applications, and opinions
Conduct research and provide strategic recommendations
Handle discoveries, mediations, motions, and trials
Support complex matters and practice growth
Requirements:
Five to nine years of post-call civil litigation experience
Insurance defence experience preferred
Familiarity with Ontario Rules of Court
Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
