Lead Industrial Electrical Designer

Lead industrial electrical design for Tetranex from its Calgary office, using AutoCAD, NavisWorks, and Bluebeam Revu across energy projects.
As Lead Electrical Designer, you will oversee office-based design execution for industrial energy projects in EPC or consulting environments. Your work spans electrical engineering, design, drafting, FEED support, calculations, vendor coordination, and quality assurance. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across varied Englobe projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complete electrical engineering, design, and drafting work packages
Produce industrial deliverables, including SLDs and wiring diagrams
Support FEED schedules, estimating, MTOs, and procurement packages
Review equipment sizing, lighting, voltage drop, and tray fill
Coordinate vendors and guide junior and intermediate designers
Requirements:
Electrical Design Technology degree, diploma, or equivalent experience
Extensive industrial energy design experience in EPC or consulting
Advanced AutoCAD, NavisWorks, and Bluebeam Revu knowledge
Industrial calculations and Canadian Electrical Code knowledge
Strong analytical, communication, and technical guidance abilities
Bring industrial design leadership, electrical calculations, and technical coordination expertise to Tetranex and Englobe projects in Calgary.
