Diesel Shop Service Manager
Penske Truck Leasing
Lead diesel shop service operations in Abbotsford with maintenance scheduling, customer satisfaction, and people management responsibilities. Work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
As Branch Service Manager with Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc., you will manage the shop floor and minor administrative tasks from maintenance and repairs. You will oversee maintenance supervisors or technicians, align operations with business objectives, and respond to customer demands. The role combines service operations, staff supervision, reporting, and vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage preventative maintenance scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction
Resolve customer complaints about services, products, or personnel
Hire, train, and evaluate personnel
Prepare schedules and assign associates to duties
Prepare sales and inventory reports for management
Requirements:
At least three years of diesel shop maintenance experience
At least one year of supervisory experience
Associate degree or Vo-Tech graduation
Vehicle component knowledge and required certifications
Microsoft Office proficiency and strong communication skills
