The Domain Lead, Supply Chain serves as a relationship manager across the naval and defence ecosystem. Reporting to the Vice President, Defence Supply Chain Development, this leader identifies sourcing challenges, supplier gaps, and development opportunities. The position coordinates BDC Financing, Advisory Services, BDC Capital, and ecosystem partners to improve SME readiness and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand current and future naval supply chain requirements
Maintain intelligence on procurement programs and emerging technologies
Prioritize capability gaps across Prime Contractors
Drive SME readiness with milestones and accountability
Coordinate financing, advisory, and ecosystem support
Requirements:
15+ years in a naval, aerospace, or defence domain
Deep understanding of Prime and Tier 1 buying behaviour
Experience supporting major procurement programs
Large ecosystem leadership experience
Strong urgency and accountability for measurable impact
Shape naval supply chain development at BDC through supplier relationships, SME readiness, procurement intelligence, and coordinated execution.
